Cattery van 't Wentershoes

In memoriam

Sherpa was our first Sacred Birman, she was sealpoint birman.
She was born on December 5, 2000 at the
Cattery Wisma Merpati from Helma en Piet Huijssoon in Breda.
She died much too early, the 17th of December 2007.
She was the one, who showed us how great the Birman-cat is!
She was the reason for us starting to breed cats.
In our harts forever!!!

Sherpa had nice deep blue eyes and her points are very dark. Her coat was very light in color for a seal point with a golden shade on her back. Her light color finally came back after her first litter. The structure and length of her coat was perfect and silky soft. Her socks and laces were a bit too low.
Her character was perfect, she was so sweet and adorable. She really liked to hug and cuddle, if she wouldn't get enough attention in her opinion she wought came and beg for it. If you were ignoring her then, she wought jump on your shoulder to come and get it herself.
She always thought that her help was absolutely necessary to get it right. Could be working on the computer, gardening, or vacuming the house, it doesn't matter what, she was on top of it. She loved it being a nuisance together with Grizzly or one of us, hide-and-seek was one of her favorits.
To get a nice picture of Sherpa or any other Birman was difficult, she was very good in closing her eyes just as you click the button. Especially when you tried this outside in the garden when the light was perfect.

Goodbye dearest Sherpa!
